Dem Staffer Not Charged for Making Gay Porn in Senate Building

February 2, 2024

As the federal government continues to prosecute pro-lifers and January 6 protestors, a Senate staffer who filmed gay sex acts in a congressional building is not being charged.

According to a statement from the U.S. Capitol Police, a congressional staffer who filmed hardcore same-sex pornography in the Hart Senate hearing room will not be charged with any crime. “For now, we are closing the investigation into the facts and circumstances surrounding a sex video that was recorded inside the Hart Senate Office Building on the morning of Wednesday, December 13,” the statement reads. “After consulting with federal and local prosecutors, as well as doing a comprehensive investigation and review of possible charges, it was determined that — despite a likely violation of Congressional policy — there is currently no evidence that a crime was committed.”

“Although the hearing room was not open to the public at the time, the Congressional staffer involved had access to the room,” the statement continued. “The two people of interest were not cooperative, nor were the elements of any of the possible crimes met. The Congressional staffer, who has since resigned from his job, exercised his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent and refused to talk to us.”

In December, the Daily Caller reported that Aidan Maese-Czeropski, at the time a legislative aide for Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.), accessed the Senate room Hart 216 and filmed himself engaging in anal sex with another male. He also took photos of himself nude crawling across tables. Maese-Czeropski was fired within 24 hours, although the Daily Caller confirmed that he had posted his pornographic video to a private messaging group for homosexual politicians.

According to former Reuters reporter Matthew Keys, the staffer had a long history of posting lewd, sexually explicit, and overtly homosexual content on social media and had even been instructed by Cardin’s office to “tone down” the vulgarity of his flamboyant posts. Cardin and his office were not only aware of Maese-Czeropski’s pornographic posts, but promoted him despite the fact.

After being caught filming himself being sodomized on a tabletop at work, Maese-Czeropski reportedly posted on LinkedIn that he “would never disrespect my workplace.” He also said that he is “being attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda,” pledging to “explor[e] what legal options are available to me in these matters.”

In comments to The Washington Stand, Family Research Council’s Senior Fellow for Regulatory Affairs Chris Gacek said, “This appears to be another case of Democrats behaving badly at the Capitol and facing no legal consequences.” He continued, “I also wonder about some of the great Senate institutionalists like Robert Byrd (D-W.Va.) and how they would have felt about such non-punishment. I think there was a time, not long ago, when senators held the institution in higher regard and reverence.”

This follows the federal government’s targeting of pro-lifers, Trump supporters, and Christians across the nation. Earlier this week, six pro-lifers were convicted of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act and sentenced to prison. Last year, the Department of Justice imprisoned more pro-lifers for FACE Act violations. January 6 protestors are also still being prosecuted and jailed by the federal government, despite growing support for the group. The FBI has also taken heat for targeting “traditional Catholics” and even spying on Catholic parishes.
