“We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children,” chanted topless LGBT activists in a drag parade on June 24 in New York City. As they filled the streets with their brazen ideology, the gay-identifying men sang vile lyrics, “We’re coming for them. We’re coming for your children. We’re coming for them. We’re coming for your children.”
The song went on, “You think we’re sinful. You fight against our rights. … You think we’ll corrupt your kids if our agenda goes unchecked. It’s funny. Just this once, you’re correct.”
“We’ll convert your children,” they continued. “Happens bit by bit. Quietly and subtly, and you will barely notice it. … We’ll convert your children.”
The spiritual warfare is palpable. These are individuals so tightly wrapped around the devil’s finger that my heart aches. And while I do grieve the state of their lives, the outrage my flesh begs to unleash at their targeting of children is fierce. If you weren’t sure before, there is no denying it now: they’re coming for our children.
The Pride movement is directed by Satan, the choirmaster of their wicked tunes, and the choreographer of their sleazy posture. Like serpents themselves, these activists slither around the earth, intoxicating people of all ages with their agenda. Yet, history shows that children have been the target of many movements — especially in the case of evil.
Genesis 3 portrays the first attack by the serpent in the Garden of Eden. When God made Adam and Eve, He deemed it “very good.” However, when the serpent manipulated Eve to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, sin manifested itself quickly in Adam by him immediately putting the blame on Eve. The harmony they once enjoyed together in the garden was destroyed. Sin broke apart the tranquil bond between the couple, resulting in animosity among them and the generations yet to come. This was an attack at the beginning of creation on the covenant of marriage, forever affecting husbands, wives, and children who inhabit the earth.
Manipulation, as it was in the beginning, is constantly used by the enemy. Take Hitler’s Nazi regime, for example. Hitler wanted Germany to be the world’s ruling nation, and clearly, he was willing to do anything to make that happen. But who did he target to build his army? Children. Or, as he classified, the Hitler Youth.
Hitler knew if he could take children and train them in the way of the Reich, then he could brainwash them into becoming lifelong loyalists to his plan of world domination. By the time they mature, their beliefs would be set in the same worldview that sent six million Jews to the grave. We wonder how so many Germans could possibly go along with Hitler’s heinous mission, but then it becomes obvious: they were convinced what they were doing was valid.
Fast forward to the present day, and we see the same circumstances unfold. The LGBT ideology is essentially a cult, and members of it bow down and worship their idea of love, gender, and sexuality. Their religion is now experimenting on humans with operations to manipulate and remove healthy sexual organs as they plant their cult flags around the world — in another form of attempted world domination. Now, their efforts are fixed upon the most defenseless of all. Children are being lusted after by wolves that want to devour them into their corrupt, destructive, and wicked worldview.
It’s not so surprising that they are coming after children. Just like Hitler, they see how malleable they are. Get them while they are young, and soon the sheep will start to howl.
In comments to The Washington Stand, director of Family Research Council’s Center for Biblical Worldview, David Closson, underscored the connection between worldview development and children. “Research over decades by George Barna shows definitively that one’s worldview begins to form between 15 and 18 months of age and is solidified by the age of 13,” he explained. “Barna’s research proves conclusively that childhood development, specifically the pre-teens of 10 through 12, is crucial for the worldview that will guide them for the rest of their lives,” he added.
Applying the worldview research to the march, Closson noted, “Everyone, including those on the cultural Left, understands that the childhood years are crucial. As Christians, we must remember that Deuteronomy 6 says that parents are to be the chief disciple-makers in the home. What we teach our children at an early age will impact them for the rest of their lives.”
This is why Christians must take action and bring children into the light. Christians must vote for those who will fight against leftist ideologies. Christians must support adoption, so children have good homes. Christians cannot sit idly by. Jesus said in Luke 17:2, “It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.” Do you understand? Jesus Himself said it is better to drown in the sea than to lead children (or anyone for that matter) into sin. This is a matter not to be taken lightly and certainly a fight worth engaging in.
Children are extremely precious and valuable to the Lord, and we are commanded to cherish them as well. Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” If the enemy is going to use the LGBT movement to target children, then believers should direct even more attention and energy into protecting them. If the enemy likes to brainwash them when they are young with sin and darkness, it is urgent to combat his schemes by being salt and light in the lives of little ones.
